I'm a Top Tweeter!

Hey, this blog made the Writers Digest Best Tweets for Writers this week! I think I have Sierra Godfrey to thank for this. Check Sierra's Google Roundup on Fridays. Thanks Sierra!

And many thanks to Jane Friedman of Writers Digest. She "watches Twitter so you don’t have to."

I'm on the list too! Hooray for both of us! We're just so awesome. :-)

Wow, that's awesome! I've tried using Twitter but I can't figure it out. It doesn't seem to know I'm there.

Anna, congrats. That was a great post.

Christine, the best way to start with Twitter is follow a few people you know (who should be polite enough to follow you back) and a few agents and publishing stars and then folks will start to find you.

But beware, sometimes the way people find you is creepy. Like last weekend I did a Google search for a London apartment for one of my characters, and all of a sudden, rental agencies in London are 'following' me. Very Orwellian.

Maybe it's better to stay away from the whole thing.

Hmm...I tried to comment just now, but it didn't seem to take. So if you end up with two of these, sorry :-). Anyhow, as I was saying, you're SO on a roll, Anne! Congratulations :-D.

Bravo! I hardly have enough time to revise my novel and write my blog. I'm impressed, Roland

Actually, I mainly tweet links to this blog's updates, so the kudos was for this blog: namely the post below about critique groups. That one really seems to have hit a nerve.

I got to spend a workshop weekend with Sierra and Catherine Ryan Hyde. Lucky me! Sierra seems very savvy. I'd pay attention to anything she sent my way.
