...WITH RUTH HARRIS
Thanks, Anne, for stopping by. Happy to see you're finally beginning to feel better. You're right, this is the Virus from Hell. I feel like a Mac truck ran over me! Keep telling myself, After all, tomorrow is another day.
You're awesome Anne.I will pass it on, and I thank you for the compliment..........dhole
Congrats! I loved your last post about your blog if you die too. lol. Unfortunately, I've seen this happen with facebook as well. It's somewhat difficult to see someone's life come to a half, even virtually and remain as they left it. Definitely disturbing. Hope you feel better soon!
How perfect is that. A smile award for a women who puts smiles on other people's faces ... Congrats :) And feel better.
Anne, sorry to hear you've had the Virus from Hell. Everyone we know seems to have/have had it, but we are trying to avoid it!
You're all so sweet. I love the people in the writing/blogging community. And thanks, I'm feeling much better. Hope all the rest of you who have this season's cold/flu/demonvirus are feeling better, too.
While you were curling up with 7 New Yorkers, I binged my own way by catching up with all the entries I missed because I was sick. (And thank for the tip--I shan't apologize for being gone again --while making coffee in my shorts, especially--, though my bloggial duty creates such a sense of guilt.) Loved the entry on getting a blog executor--are you on twitter? I'd love to retweet that post you wrote. Loved learning about your love-hate thing going on w/ the NY Times, though with me it's mostly love-love, since I"m such a brain-washed liberal. And Catherine's tips were truly excellent--I agree with reading out loud--I try to do it at least once with a manuscript, and I know folks who swear by it. Thanks for all the posts--you're truly the hardest-working woman in the blogworld, virus or no virus.
Thanks Samuel! Yup. I'm a Tweeter. I should be following you. I'll go remedy that now. My cavil with the NY Times is only with the Book Review. They neglect women's fiction something awful. Too many reviews of old white guys. That makes two writers I really admire who have called me hard-working today. (Blushes) Aw, shucks, guys--thanks.
Thanks for the award Anne! Now that I'm online at home - I look forward to catching up with your blog...especially the How to Blog series...
Good gracious, Anne, I don't know how I missed this- gahhh my eyes have me so behind on everything! I LOVE this picture what a cool award and thank you so much for it- I am so sorry I didn't see it sooner!!!<3 bru
