The long-awaited new anthology from the Literary Lab debuts today. NOTES FROM UNDERGOUND is now available. It’s $10, either at amazon or through the Literary Lab or CreateSpace. All proceeds go to the Writers Emergency Relief Fund.. A REALLY important resource for writers. You'll be doing all sorts of good if you buy one. A bit more goes to them if you order through the Literary Lab--and there’s a 15% discount if you sign up for their mailing list.

On a sadder note, Pay it Forward author Catherine Ryan Hyde has had her Amazon page attacked by trolls working for a bullying, estranged relative. (Even when you're a grown-up, bullies from your childhood can make your life hell, thanks to electronic media.) You can help her by going to the amazon Jumpstart the World page and clicking on the actual reviews as "helpful" http://amzn.to/fcX0IY and the personal attacks as "unhelpful." Pass the word on.
All writers are vulnerable to Amazon troll attacks—so here's a chance to Pay It Forward.

It IS a gorgeous cover but the book needs a product description. Have 'unhelpful-ed' the unhelpful comment.

Thanks everybody! You can buy it by clicking on the links above or clicking on the book cover thumbnail on the right. Literary Lab is such a great bunch of people. Genre Wars, last year's project, is an impressive, consistently high-quality anthology (also available through the thumbnail to the right.) In both anthologies, you'll see the work of a lot of the wonderful people who comment here. And proceeds go to writers charities.
I don't have a writer's blog, just a bit about my life, mostly in pictures. But books are my passion and I have recently come upon several blogs by wonderful writers, so I'm signing up to follow yours, but I know what you mean about keeping it all up. Thanks, everybody for helping Catherine. We now now have enough "unhelpfuls" on the troll post that it's been relegated to the "more reviews" section instead of the #1 review spot on her buy page. But more trolls are hitting the site all the time, so anybody who has the time to help, I know she'd appreciate it.
And anybody who hasn't read Jumpstart--I highly recommend it. Imagine "Glee" without the Britney Spears songs.
